2013 LADEZE VENUE

To whet your curiosity, about the Edson Creek, Oregon Ladeze event scheduled in September, here are some photos of the campground and surrounding areas.  Edson Creek feeds into the Sixes River, located between Port Orford to the South, Bandon to the North, with Cape Blanco in between.

The Edson Creek Group Campground.  Can you picture 20 Lazy Dazes in its wide open grassy meadow?

The pleasant individual-site campground at the entrance to the BLM real estate...

PORT ORFORD'S very busy commercial fishing port...

Can you smell crab?

At the entrance to the docks is a small parking area where dry camping with this peaceful view is possible.

The CAPE BLANCO Lighthouse is Oregon's oldest, most Westerly and highest above the sea.  It was built to warn mariners of the dangerous offshore "islands" (big rocks!!); tours of the lighthouse are popular.

BANDON

Bandon Lighthouse at the mouth of the Coquille River

Bandon's lively harbor boardwalk invites strolling and pausing to admire "Old Town's" artistic touches.

Bandon doesn't have a Starbucks, but my suggestion would be to put its don't-miss chocolatier at the top of your visit list!

Bandon is the cranberry capital of Oregon.  Who knew?!

The 2013 Edson Creek Ladeze event concludes just in time for the 67th Annual Bandon Cranberry Festival, a festive add-on if one has the time and inclination: September 13 - 15.

LAZY DAZE LADEZE, 2012

These photos of last year's Lazy Daze Ladeze event on the Truckee River, CA are worth thousands of words.   The remarkable women pictured here came to learn, bond, compete, and frolic.  They are indeed an Uppity bunch!

Oh Yeah!  And they pride themselves in creating fabulous food, thank you very much.
Truffles and Port for dessert?  Could there be anything more "top drawer"?!
Meeting new people with common interests beyond Lazy Daze, adds a special element to our get togethers.

There's nothing more important than going down the road safely and confidently.  We look to Joan's insight, experience, technical savvy and comprehensive tutorials and handouts to show us how.

Creativity, imagination and hilarity bubble up on Silly Hat Night.

After prolonged and spirited bidding, Joan scored one of Eloth's prized felted-hat creations.
Teamwork and "sporting events" round out an eclectic campout!

In our "Downtown" area, you might find home-grown garlic,  technical handouts, a yard sale or maps and brochures for fun things to do in the area.

Yes, of course, fur pals are always welcome at our events.

Some folks use unconventional means to keep critters from building rodent condos under their hoods.

If you are a woman, and you own a Lazy Daze Motorhome, we hope you'll join us at one of our women-only get togethers.  Watch this space for details of our September, 2013 event in Southern Oregon.
